How to use this app

Features

  1. View maps of the area and the latest information of all currently-displayed art and locations of information desks.
  2. Information on the areas where artworks are located. (only available on the app!)
  3. The Digital Stampbook: An app-only stamp checklist to keep track of the artwork you’ve seen.(only available during certain times)

Latest Information on Artworks and Information Desks

View from the map

Go to the home screen and tap anywhere on the map as indicated.

Tap any of the pins on the map to see information about that specific artwork.

Tap the artwork information box as indicated.

Detailed information for the artwork will be displayed.

View from the full artwork list

Tap the bottom button as indicated below from either the home screen or the map screen.

Select any artwork from the list.

Change viewing order using the bar at the top.

Tapping the “写真一覧” button in the top right will display results as only photos of the artworks.

Tap the “じもと話” tab on the artwork’s information page.

View Information by Region

Learn more about each region by tapping the artwork, then the Area Information tab, and scroll to the bottom where it says “この地区のじもと話をもっとみる”

Digital Stampbook (limited time only)

* This feature is free to use and available only during the stamp rally campaign.

When visiting an artwork, look for the QR code attached to the black and yellow art signpost. This is the code used to log the visit in your stamp book.

Getting the stamp

Open the “スタンプ” section of the app. A list of all available artworks will be shown by their code (A001, A002, etc).

Tap the “スタンプ” button at the bottom of the screen.

Hold your phone up to the QR code.

* Please note that in order to use this feature you will need to grant the app access to your camera. You cannot use any other QR readers for this feature.
